Yeah I've always tried to show poly relationships in a healthy light (unless of course it's intended to be an antagonistic or morally gray character, like Cameron in The Pleasure Principle). It's been kinda surprising just how much backlash Night and Pat's relationship has gotten over the years, though it seems to have died down. I think a lot of it stems from a small but vocal subset of people projecting insecurities (or wanting a traditionalist relationship for my main male character). But I really do try to indicate that it's consensual and fun!
