CROSSING SWORDS S2 (ROUND 1 MATCH 1) -- RUDY VS TRINN
A brand new, state-of-the-art gargantuan of a big screen monitor against one of the arena walls flashes brightly, with a display of the new season's tournament bracket & competitors.
Soon, the first match in the bracket is highlighted, that & the ongoing trance revving up, both signifying the tournament's official commencing.
Two men step out onto the battlefield, ready to kick off the tournament in the best way they possibly can.
One is a towering, sturdy, armored, rhinoceros-like Pokémon with a rather exotic appearance, even for his own actual species.
The other is a not-as-muscular, noticeably shorter & skinnier leafy-ghostly Pokémon, with shifty glowy eyes.
The two approach the center where Nikolai is standing, and the two await the ringleader's rules & instructions.
The two head over to their respective corners, awaiting the signal to commence the fight.
