Another old art of an old OC, one of my oldies for a DC OC actually. Had a few back in the day but a lot of it was heavily fandom crossovers really.
This one of the few purely DC oriented.
A metahuman with the power of regeneration. Her body constantly regenerating any slightest injury, wear or aging, her hair won't even grow longer than it was at when her powers emerged.
She named herself Deadgirl as she has literally died plenty of times but her body's regeneration immediately reanimating her back to live state, whether she wants it to or not.
The regeneration comes at a cost that she the healing is just as painful as gaining the injuries, just in reverse. Feeling broken bones snap back into place setting her pain receptors just as much on fire.
She has to constantly provide her body with protein and anything else needed to rebuild itself - is always hungry, her body never sated. Attempts at starving herself instead lead to her body taking control and going feral, ready to eat anything within reach to provide the needed protein to keep stable. Regained consciousness with a half eaten rodent or anything alike in her mouth more than once.
Not stronger than an average human, and having a hard time building extra muscle due to her body insisting on staying one same state, she relies more on being flexible and agile in situations of fights if not having to be the designated meatshield. Keeping things simple her suit is just a gymnast suit and a skull mask.
Been stuck like this for a couple of decades she's pretty done with it all, not caring about coming off as rude with her attitude problem and cynicism. Mostly just feeling obligated to the whole cape and mask ordeal as her powers usually makes her of interest to any groups finding use in someone immortal with suicidal recklessness.
Old silly OC from them olden days, that I still find interesting.
