It's kind of surprising how slap prints are treated as comedy injuries, but also a sign of real damage. He has a bandaged cheek from the slap he got earlier. While comics and cartoons treat slap prints as a comedic injury that disappears in a scene transition, it's very rare to see characters get treatment for their brushed cheeks. In real life, slap marks are a sign of deep bruising that take long to heal. It's kind of refreshing to see this fact, even when treated as comedy.
