please don't ever stop making music because i get get giddy when your stuff shows up in my queue. this particular track reminds me of the best parts of the band WOVEN (not wovenhand). far more subtle, though.

Not super-obvious, but I had a pretty good idea.

the only suggestions i would make would be to fade in the vocal section... 0:42 happens a bit suddenly and the first time i listened, i was completely surprised by it.... maybe a reversed "aah" or crash (or whatever you feel would fit best) being faded in a couple of seconds before the section starts would do it. also, fade out the end since one can hear the record still spinning without music playing, if you know what it mean, and that suddenly cuts as well.

other than that, this is awesome, and i can see the animal collective love here. great stuff.

I think I like how sudden it is, but, perhaps it's too sudden. I'd want to surprise the listener, not scare them. :S

I always leave homeless songs like this open-ended in case I want them to fade into something else on an album.

i wasn't exactly scared, but i did blink in surprise. it's probably because i had been looping the previous version, then heard that and "hey, new material." if it's what you did on purpose, then it's aaaaall good in the hood.
