My first custom character I've made for someone in YEARS. I was so excited when I was asked to make a big fucking crab, and I really like how he turned out! Included both the sfw and nsfw designs



His design is based off on a Dungeness crab and the Sally Light-foot crab (both are really cool arthropods). In terms of the rest of him, he's got elements of a brawny salor (bc crab and ocean elements) and his design and tuar-ness takes inspiration from the mirelurks from Fallout. His pattern on his back and chest takes mild inspiration from the cultural tattoos found in pacific islander culture, but it's not truly comparable considering those tattoos have deep cultural connections and personal meanings and this big crab just has squiggles on his back. I wanted to reflect on his oceanic background when it comes to the general "look" of the character and I'm by no means trying to misrepresent an entire culture.
