I suppose General Shepherd needed someone local to help clean up after taskforce 141, following their hiccup in the Favelas.
Any other CoD fans have seen the huge lowering of standards of professionalism in DLC Skins. Goths, Halloween costumes, glowing rave outfits.
This leaves plenty of room for some 'distracting' operator uniforms.
The make-up and piercings are bad enough, but more importantly I really don't think that's a safe way to carry a grenade.
