The small town of Blackwater couldn't catch a break. Not only was it the coldest winter yet, but the nearby volcano had been smoking. Any day it would erupt and bury the village in ash and lava. Fortunately for Blackwater, a passing dragoness took interest in the smoking volcano. With gusto she gulped down its fiery contents, her body unharmed by the heat.

Flying may be out of the question for now, but the hot lava contained within tough, insulated scales have turned her into a giant heated mattress, not that she minds. The villagers certainly don't.
