Glory, the rainwing princess of sarcasm...
In my opinion the world of WoF is interesting by that its differentiates from other dragon fantasy and I really enjoyed the first arc, so I recommend reading the books. (And if you decide to read them: Don't be like me who got too much spoilers from WoF's subreddit and fanwiki)
