Yes, powerslave 2 was going to be a prequel set one thousand years before the first game. The god Ra was going be kidnapped and the world would be set in a permanent solar eclipse due to him being kidnapped. I recall your just an Egyptian warrior who basically had the balls to save him was the whole mc story.
Beyond that there’s really nothing else sadly… since the company was bought out that project died with the buy out that occurred… such a shame.
Though weird enough the game was going to be a third person fighter/shooter instead of a first person one like the first game. So they had a lot of interesting ideas, but man… that would have been a game changer and such a unique experience.
If only… we could change the nature of certain things or see in an alternate future where stuff like that actually got finished.
Regardless Powerslave still stands as one of the most unique fps games of the 90’s. You don’t get many fps games based in Egypt in general.
