A Norfolk Southern stack train runs past the call board at Sadieville, KY. Once a waterstop for the Southern it's now nothing more than a single siding for setting out bad order cars.

Nope the tower is long gone. However the towns small depot remains and acts as a City Hall/Museum for the little town. They also have a very well maintained Southern bay window caboose (what town the Southern served dosen't?) that has it's interior still intact and on display. I was also told while I was there that the home of the water stop maintainer was still there. The water tower at Sadieville had to be refilled by a creek at a lower elevation and had to be pumped back full on a regular basis. A man was stationed here constantly to keep the tower filled.
