Last February 15, my grandmother passed away. It was something we were already prepared for but we did not think it was going to happen this month, not even this year. She was not sick, except for circulation problems but all that was under control.

That same day I was a little closer to her, more than usual but it was not consciously, for some reason I simply had the need to be there because I usually work all day and I took care of her part of the night/morning.

I will never forget that smile when she saw me arranging her pillow in the middle of the day, and if I had known that hours later she would leave us, I would have told her so many things and being so close to her... I didn't. At least I know she was able to say goodbye this way.

Goodbye grandma, at some point we will meet again.
