A bit late to post this, but it won't ever get earlier, so here we go. XD
As former felons now without memories of their past lives, as stated before, DJ, Yoshiaki, and Rashad only had each other for a long time. That meant being together for the hard times, and the good. Holidays and birthdays especially mean a lot to them, new lives mean new traditions to make. They're a found family, through and through, and every Christmas they stay at Yoshiaki's and enjoy a simple Christmas holiday together.
Each morning, bright and early, they get up and down to "business".
Yoshiaki heads to the kitchen to get started on breakfast, while DJ and Rashad get to work divvying up the presents, and Rashad often had snuck a few extra for his friends into the sack as they sort them out into piles. Just a calm, happy holiday three friends look forward to every year.
"You guys want the usual in the egg scramble, right? I got plenty of food for today, so you'd better leave with leftovers or else."
"Sure thing man! Oh, thanks Rashad. You really shouldn't have..."
"Oh, but I wanted to, buddy. Here, slip this into Yoshi's pile."
"HEY! I AIN'T A DAMN GREEN DINOSAUR!"
"Heheh, fine. Put this in Yoshiaki's pile. And Flint, thanks as always for making an amazing meal. You're the best, truly."
"Hrmf. You're lucky I like ya. Breakfast's ready in twenty."
"Roger!"
"Gotcha!"
Ahh, you can just feel them getting into the Christmas spirit, can't ya?
