Tarou is based off Japanese tengu, if the imagery wasn't obvious enough. Depending on the version they enjoy pranks and jokes and humor, so here we are. :)

Anyway, Tarou realized something early on about Rashad. Not only was he susceptible to, but he seemed to greatly enjoy hypnosis. After one time that he caught Rashad and hypnotized him, he found out that for Rashad sometimes juggling his life could be overwhelming, so the stress release that came with letting someone else think for him was quite therapeutic, as well as arousing. So Tarou turned it into a little game they shared, with Rashad's permission.
Every so often Rashad'll be sitting in a chair, then a swaying crystal will be in his vision and Tarou's gentle voice in his ear telling him to focus and relax.
Other times the television will change to a spiral, capturing Rashad's attention and mind.
There was the time his visor GUI changed into dancing lights, and he stood there in the middle of the room staring at nothing as he drooled onto the carpet.
And sometimes, late at night, it's just Tarou whispering adoring words in his ear as he drifts off to sleep.
Tarou loves giving Rashad what he wants, and if being zonked and happy on occasion is what he wants, well Tarou will be happy to give it.
