A fantastically realised commission by the highly talented and professional artist

Since I prefer to depict my Anthro-Friesian character with hooves instead of human feet, I've always wondered what shoeing those hooves would look like....
This led me to the idea of what the profession of a "shoemaker" would look like if it were practised by an anthro horse...
~~~
Hot and glowing, the metal leaves the furnace
Under rhythmic strokes, hammer and muscle force it into its new shape
And as the anvil 'sings' vibratingly under each blow
the iron changes colour like the setting sun
Whether on stony ground or wet meadows...
may it protect its owner and bring him luck!
Thank you very much for the feedback! Yes the artist didn't want to add the sparks either, but I wanted to add it for effect and dynamic, even though I have also been present at the creation of many a horseshoe and know that it doesn't actually spark like that. But it's interesting that this is already decisive as a quality feature - well, then this horseshoe will probably go to scrap ;)
When metal is burnt, it burns like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kh_keyUrU8E
And when you strike burnt metal, sparks and molten metal drops fly everywhere.
