Actually, Bulbapedias article on Diamond and Pearl says that the rival battle song is a remix of Neo Tokyo, since most Pokemon fans who played D/P/Pt never heard of Pulseman until they read the Bulbapedia article on D/P, because Pulseman is Japan only (mainly because it was on a system that was never released outside of Japan due to the console wars between the SNES and Genesis at the time)
