Following on from the main picture I did for Russet, I ended up needing to create these little mini-scenes for each of the 'cameo' characters. In this case Qubit is in-fact flying an homage to the escape shuttle, the 'Narcissus' from Alien!
For this I had some fun creating a few of the "semiotic standard" graphics for the doorway markings, the warning screens reflected in Qubit's visor and a retro computer styled version of the holographic map from the main picture!

Of course, I couldn't spend as long on the backdrops of these smaller scenes as I could the main picture, but I did try to make them all visually interesting at least!

Rendering, character re-texturing, and scene modelling by me. Done in Blender 3.0.1 with Affinity Designer for 2D graphics and rendered Cycles.
