I have played out a scenario where I took someone over once, patching into their neural system. Have also went more physical wearing with filling someone and changing them from the inside out. Don't know if I've really drawn either recently or posted...

The rule I've gone with is unless specified the nannites used to change someone are removed afterwards so they'd be stuck in the new form.
Then again really prolonged repeated exposure can lead to some nannites to adapt themselves and the person may retain some level of shape flexibility.
