so a bought a weird damaged copy of pokemon black at a yard sale

it started normal, but i eventually stumbled upon a wild snivy
its sprite was all messed up and its cry was just noise

once i caught it, i looked at my party and every other pokemon in my team had become the same glitched snivy

has this happened to anyone else??
