Aerial conquest - by NeverNeverLand and Kalimah
The golden dragon had quite looked forward to this day: He'd invited his close friend Samael to his domain, and presented the idea of a little competition, a race across the desert hills surrounding his domain. He was sure the home field advantage would be plenty to win, knowing the currents better than any other dragon.
With the desert heat under his wings and the bright sun reflecting off of his scales - strong enough to blind whatever victim he would dive upon from above - the sundragon felt confident of his impending victory - until not too long into their race, when he noticed Samael's black scales passing by below him! Quickly, he'd end up with his tail coiled around Samael's, playfully pulling him back and disrupting his speedy flight - just so he could stay in front, much to the annoyance of the dragon below him - But after all, no rules had been discussed, and the smirk on his snout probably told Samael more than enough: this race wasn't over yet!
