Ohhh how I despise depression. It acts like it's the strongest thing ever and is forever haunting ones mind but, it's NOT real. It's a fear. One that can be conquered, or left alone to conquer it's host.

If we expose the negativity, it cant hide and fester inside us.

Yeah, depression is kind of a jerk, but she is also bluntly honest. Painfully so. I think she hangs around with Writer's Block as well.

Anxiety has her place. She keeps me safe from a lot of otherwise bad choices. Her more negative sides are something I've just had to accept as part of the package lol

Hmm. As I understand it, depression is kind of a lack of emotion, though it also seems to be a lack of drive or motivation as well. If it stems from a natural instinct or something like that, my guess would be something related to what it does.

Of course, it could be that it's not a malfunctioning subsystem of the brain, like anxiety tends to be, but just a symptom of crossed wires or burned out sectors. And that's before getting into spiritual considerations, which is a whole other kettle of fish. =P

it does feel like a void or an absence. granted its a familiar one by now so when its totally gone for a while it feels weird.
