A recipe I learned from my parents, and added some of my own stuff to it.
1 smoked sausage, sliced
1 each, green and red bell pepper
1/2 an onion
a handful of mushrooms sliced
1 - 2 cloves of garlic, minced
olive or vegetable oil for frying
1 - 1 1/2 cups of rice to serve
1. Heat up oil in a pan over medium heat, add sliced sausages and cook for 3 minutes. Then add the bell peppers, onions and garlic and cook for 5 minutes.
2. While that's cooking, cook rice and set aside to steam.
3. Add mushrooms close to the end of the cooking time, cook for a minute or until the mushrooms brown
4. Serve over rice and you're done. Enjoy! <3
