Strikers are the most flexible form of rix. Their bodies are basilisk-sized and look eerily realistic to their serpentine counterparts. They are the most skilled at stealth operations, as well as the fastest, though in limitation, their only form of attack is their razor-bladed fangs. A striker’s form is legless, like a serpent, with two bulky arms and quad/penta-digited hands. Their tongues are the most elastic and they secrete pure hexatexime-infused latex as a venom, which is often used to induce seizure-esque symptoms or paralysis in victims. Lining their hoods and backs are toxic, flexible spines. A striker’s fibrous patch is often along their stomach and chest. They, like messengers, are very volatile and prone to attack, harboring enough jaw strength to crush bones. Unlike incubators, a striker does not swallow victims to incubate – they swallow to crush their bodies inside of themselves and convert their flesh to raw latex before un-merging a new rix. They may, optionally, assimilate many victims into themselves if unable to take them all with its jaws. They are also capable of water travel due to curiously-observed micro-gills embedded along the serpents’ neck and hood. (In the case of immune, a striker will simply strike and leave them behind for incubators.)

I try to, when I do experiments with commissions or new concepts, incorporate at least pieces of what I like into the lore so it continually refines the concepts. In this case, having a naga concept was a big plus for the rix, and I also got another that'll be posted soon that I added too... Because in a world where these beasts take over, it's not just the large and dangerous creatures that get corroded -- there's also ones we don't think of as often. Fun stuff for sure :3
