I still find it hard to believe that this is happening to my country. Explosions, gunfire, screams, destruction... death... War is so scary. I fear for my country, for my people and my loved ones.
But we are still here. We still believe. We still want peace.

Russia in Ukraine acting similarly as USA in Korea and Vietnam, from any position people look at this - condemn or approve. Meny Vietnames people were glad to see American soldiers and even helped them, but others fight for communist government. Putin is a Nixon of 21 century. I hope Russia wont do something like Song Mi or Agent Orange
I saw videos on youtube from Ukrainian civilians who scared because Ukrainian army put artillery vehicles in inhabited districts between houses and hung/shoot anyone who is traitor (by their opinion). Of course people can say "agony as in Third Reich in 1945 when SS executed folksturm civilians!", but meny nations executed their own citizens in war time and used towns as fortresses.
There's plenty of disinformation and misleading spreading around the web. All I can advice is to follow official Ukrainian channels, if you want to get an approximate understanding of what's going on.
Just to clarify: we want to be friends with Russian people, but have no desire to be occupied by them. Those (and I mean the forces) who came to invade our lands, are not considered as "friends".

We do not touch those who hold out the white flag. We don't need nobody's death. We don't need this pain.
