He's very handsome.
Magical Beastfolk tend to have some spell-like ability they utilize. For Displacer Beasts I would say that they can a number of times equal to their Proficiency Bonus per Long Rest use Mirror Image.
They can also use those Tentacles as an Unarmed Attack dealing 1d4 Bludgeoning or Piercing Damage and have a reach of 10ft. As a Monk his Tentacle Attack Damage would increase due to his Martial Arts Class Ability.
I would say his Monastic Tradition would be Way of the Shadow which gives him the ability to become Invisible when in areas of dim-light or darkness and Teleport between shadows.
