I skipped sword and shield, because so many friends told me it was not that fun and from what I saw that seemed to be the case. Plus I didn't click with any of the pokemon designs. First pokemon GEN I've ever skipped, and I've been playing them since first gen.
But Legends Arceus and now this has me pumped to dive right back into pokemon ♥
And who knows, maybe soon they will do a gen with my region of scandinavia x3

Honestly, I've been enjoying all the new Pokémon games despite them getting a bad rep online. SWSH was very fun and looked so beautiful, and I grew fond of many of the new designs as I played and watched them in motion. If you ever have some spare time and find a copy, I recommend you give them a chance - you may not like them, but it's worth trying :)
