Foewinter and Evermourn, my Pandaren/Blood Elf OCs.
When Alliance/Horde invaded Pandaria, many Pandarens fell victim to reawaken Sha. While there are seven major Sha in existence, their influence on each person is different, some may even become afflicted by more than one Sha influences, and create something even more treacherous altogether.
Foewinter was a simple farmer on Kun-Lai when his village was invaded by Mantids, made him susceptible to both Anger, Hatred, and Violence. Indeed, he was immediately possessed by respective Sha fragments, and his experience led to the merging of both, therefore became a new entity: Sha of Vengeance.
While this new monster was but a seedling, its appetite was no less voracious than its forebears, which led to Foewinter not only avenging his village by killing every Mantid he saw, but also seeking the death of foreigners and other Pandarens for being “useless” and “careless”. Forsaking his old name, Foewinter vowed to bring a frigid winter to the lives of those who wronged his village by association, and the list is VERY long.
He was no lone victim, of course, because even visitors of Pandaria suffered from these Sha influence, one of many being Evermourn. The Blood Elf’s whose family was slaughtered during Scourge Invasion of Sunwell, and she grew ever wary of the continuous war under Garrosh’s leadership.
After months of martial tour on Pandaria, Evermourn collapsed under her stress and sorrow, unbeknown of encroaching Sha power. By the time Foewinter found her, Evermourn had already become a breeding pool for Sha of Fear, Doubt, and Despair, nursing Sha fiends through her sorrow. Foewinter slew the Sha seedlings, and almost killed Evermourn for her part in this conflict.
But he stopped.
Deep down, Foewinter knew that not everyone is responsible for the death of his village, and endless killing would only turn him into HER, a pitiful birthing pod to monsters. The only way for Vengeance to be sated is to have a goal, however endless it might be, that would actually be a righteous path befitting him and memory of his village.
From that day on, Evermourn became Foewinter’s charge. He dedicated his vengeful existence to protect the Blood Elf’s wellbeing by slaying her enemies, keeping her warm and fed, speaking on her behalf, at the same time restrains himself from doing anything but. By directing all of his Vengeance to her cause, he is at least protecting someone and not hurting too many people in the process.
Evermourn knows Foewinter is helping her for personal gain, and she allows it with no small amount of spite, disgust, and malice. After all, why can’t she live under another person’s shelter for once? Doesn’t she deserve better after all the suffering she went through since Arthas? And without the Pandaren frequently killing Sha for her she’d fall victim to their influence again, she provides him a purpose in exchange for survival.
They’re using each other, and why not. At least they can live and function til the day they draw their final breath.
As for what happens when Evermourn rid herself of all enemies, will she remain at Foewinter’s side? Will Foewinter leave her? Will the two finally being able to care for each other like damaged individuals?
No one knows.

Foewinter and Evermourn is a prime example of what happens when two mentally ill get together, feeding off each other’s needs just to exist and function. They hated the circumstance that brought them together, the continuation of it, and a goal seemly beyond reach. Yet, they didn’t choose the easy path of ending their lives, instead a long, painful road where (gods willing) may finally bring them comfort. Perhaps buried deep in their heart they still hold a dim little hope, enough to keep them going through fields of doubt and numbness.
One day, they may be rewarded with fruits of happiness, even if they could no longer swallow it.
