The longer answer is that Dakota can split his entire being up into Emovere, the living avatars of his own psyche. Like, Merrick is his sense of humor and playfulness, Lazlow is his selfish and sadistic side. Boo is his feminine side. His comprehension of girls through his empathy. In psychology they call that the Anima. :3
