Art by  Kadath! During Rainfurrest, I gave Kadath some money, and told him to draw a jackal. I gave him free reign to draw whatever he wanted (within reason, of course)!

So he came up with this sketch. Then I wondered what his name is. Naming a character is important. It helps with the personality.

I asked  Gen to give me a letter. She chose 'W', so I went and found only one male's name starting with that letter under the Egyptian Baby Names.

Thus, Wamukota was named! It means "Left Handed", so perhaps when he was born, the first thing he did instead of crying was try to grab the doctor's hand with his left.
