The wistful goodbye, lovers parting, hopefully just for a short while. I'm surprised he didn't take her with him. In a sense he bought her freedom. But maybe he didn't want to put her in jeopardy. An adventurer's life is hard and dangerous, and Lord knows, Chris is no fool, and frankly, he's probably too set in his ways to change, even for the woman he loves. (Eh- I hope Nora runs after Chris, dragging the pimp behind her because he tried to stop her by grabbing her dress and wouldn't let go. And Chris then does what we all have been wanting him to do, grabs the lizard and administers a severe session of bodily chastisement to the creep. Let's do the curb-stomp again...)
