Hey folks! So if you've been up to date on Experimental drekeology you would know that I have practiced and made shepherd slings for a good long while and I have dedicated a lot of my free time to experimenting with slinging styles to try and find some slinging styles that drekir could use and this is the most obvious and straightforward one.
In the real world its known as the Apache Style, though of course whether or not the Apache invented or used it is something I don't know nor have found proof of so take it with a strong set of quotation marks. The style is very straightforward though, you just throw. Its one of many no spin techniques. Where a human is generating force via twisting the body a drek would generate force by pivoting their whole body. Otherwise its just a big overhanded throw, very straightforward.

Apache is fine on power and, from my time fiddling with it, is notably very accurate of a throwing style. It also requires a very minimal amount of movement which makes it good for hunting.

The other styles im experimenting with are my more well practiced Figure 8 style and a style that I am working on that I have personally dubbed "The whirly dirly:tm:"
