I am always honoured and touched when I am commissioned to do a memorial painting. There is a lot of emotion involved, an extra layer of significance. This was also done for a really great guy. So I wanted to do a good job. 16x20 acrylic on illustration board.

Don’t know why I never commented, but I am now. The concept for this picture sat with me for almost 10 years before I finally had the funds to go ahead. I’d mentioned it to my mother several time and then I finally showed her. She was incredibly moved by what a wonderful job you did Heather. I know I’ve thanked you several time, but this is truly a beautiful piece and am honoured you did it such justice.
