The last page of the comic, the main character driving away from fire breathing dragon destruction.
One day a few weeks ago I wondered to myself what would happened if rather than doodling aimlessly each night I instead attempted to doodle aimfully. My thinking went that if I doodled with some finished end in mind, but kept just the intensity of doodling it wouldn't be stressful like working on an actual art project at all.
This did not prove to be the case. I had to engage it more fully than just sitting down and doodling, and started to view it as a big boring project and spent many a night avoiding it, as well as avoiding general doodling, which reminded me of my idea.
It wasn't supposed to turn into a project that I thought hard about or had the typical bipolar love/hate thing going on with, but it was anyway. Now it's done, or at least I'm calling it that. An un-colored version will be posted in my scraps section.
