Hensley's Character List for Skin to Scales Part 2
Hey everyone, it's been almost a week I think... How yall been? Anywho, let's get right to the chase.
I will say and state this again before you proceed any further. I like to give my characters icons so I can use them as quick reference sheets. I feel it's easier to write down and create a character once you get a good look at their face. Skin to Scales has so many different personalities and people coming from different backgrounds that it can be rough keeping track of them all. So that's why I make icons for most of the important characters who are in the setting. Some don't have icons yet, and some I still have old versions back from 2020 I still use in case a character gets updated or not. Here you will still see several characters from previous and even upcoming sheets as their designs got updated or I improved as an artist.
Another thing I want to say and give a thank you to my many co-writers who help me work on the setting whenever I have free time. That being DuckPuncher (who I usually refer to as Varik), Malbutorious, Rodney (Who won't stop changing his name so I'll forever call him Rodney to his dismay), ArtisticBulbmin, and Whitegroth. Mal always helps me out with the mythology side of things, Varik helps me write the faceless side of things, Rodney helping out with evolution and goblin lore, Charles and his crew that he's written in and Whitegroth helping expand out the technological side of the setting.
With that out of the way, let me introduce you to this batch of characters. I will tell the arc that they were introduced in, if they perished and are no longer part of the current timeline of the setting, who they are, the likes and giving a small biography on each. I'll only be giving out breadcrumbs and the need-to-know information for now.
Thank you for reading, you are all truly wonderful.
Alpha Winged Hussar: Introduced in Mimin War: These are Elite Units in Captain PiK's army for specialized operations and close quarters combat. Equipped with wings, a plasma blade and grenades they're perfect for closing the distance and even jumping behind enemy lines. They're Fruit Kobolds who are augmented from Doctor Love's experiments. These are the alpha versions and are practically prototypes that were issued in the Mimin War. They had a few problems, but nothing that wasn't ironed out in the final versions in the Ultrinian War.
Fruity Freelancer: Introduced in Mimin War: Basic Infantry of Captain PiK's army in the early years of the Mimin War. Equipped with titanium armor, advanced plastic halberds, long blades and tower shields. Easy to produce and even saw use when riflebolds and other soldiers started to see field use. Fruity Freelancers however are still used in Thomza's army. Some Fruit Kobolds desire the more simplistic style of a sword and shield instead of a gun.
Ayvil: Introduced in Mimin War: Fleshwelder, wife of PiK, God of the Unholy Flesh, servant of Thomza and champion of Ballos. Ayvil is an Alpha Fruity who joined Captain PiK when he first crash landed on their planet. Perceiving Captain PiK originally as a God before his eventual resurrection as his ship fell from the sky. She was a pack leader and still has that role today. Going from a prophet to the god of the unholy flesh, and even a servant. She was supposedly created in a laboratory, but her memories on this is fuzzy. Claiming that all Fruit Kobolds came from the same place, but no one knows this for certain.
Captain PiK: Introduced in Mimin War: I'm feeling lazy so you can just check this out here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40162730/
Derick: Introduced in Fading Embers: One of the members of Huntley's mercenary crew. A swordsman with an affinity for water and even betrayal. He would betray Huntley in his journey twice in a row before finally succumbing to his own guilt. He now continues to be in his group and has a strange cat named Walter. The two will constantly bicker and fight as he is also haunted by a man named "Ghetto Knight." He is just thankful he has car insurance.
Hunter Matriach Suit: Introduced in Boars of War: A fallen foe's greatest treasure and skin worn as armor. The Matriarch planned on total universal domination before they were stopped by the Boars of War crew. Through valiant sacrifice, the suit was obtained, and she fell to her own hubris. Hunter now dawns her armor as it's welded onto his very skin. The suit boosts his speed, commanding skills and versatility.
Hunter Goafahen Disguise: Introduced in Council of Chaos: Being a skinwalker has its benefits and being able to disguise as anything and everything... Even something more complex similar to the gluttonous godeating monsters known as the Goafahens.
Ballos Pillar of Indulgence: Introduced in Creation of the Universe: One of the Major Gods of the setting, Queen of the Gulch who rules alongside her sister. She's married to UBiL and claims to be the true mother of Thomza. She's a major character and influence in the setting as her teachings can be seen far and wide and even intermixing with other religions of the setting. Using her teachings as a building block for others. Her teachings include loving oneself, acceptance, indulging in the things you enjoy, and of course the circle of life itself.
Kris, Maggey, Sarah: (Still being rewritten)
Hunter Wendigo Alpha: Introduced in Boars of War: The skin walker arises; his form is pure however the ritual is incomplete. Metal and flesh will combine, and the muscles will grow strong. This form will boost his physical strength and defensive abilities.
Laura Materia: Introduced in Mimin War: Mother of Captain PiK and a once great commander for the Mimin Armada. She was discharged thanks to some meddling from the higher ups and her position was removed. 20 Years would pass, and the Mimin War would start all spearheaded by her son. She would join and lead a rebellion and then retire once again off the battlefield after it was over. More years would come to pass before she began to interact with Thomza. The two would eventually begin dating (despite Thomza being supposedly monogamous), and she would become one of his supposed servants.
Marian: Introduced in Ultrinian War: A stranger from the past who came to warn Hunter of the approaching faceless threat foreseen by El. Her and her husband, Henry were sent as messengers and sent to save Hunter before his near death. The three of them would start a small adventuring party as they would go on special op missions with Hunter. Time would pass, the two of them would take interest in him, and a relationship would bloom. However, there are some lies that were whispered and told...
Cooler Marian: Introduced in Council of Chaos: Hunter likes to disguise as his wife... So... Yeah
Johanathon and Alexander: (Being Rewrtitten)
Dang, if you got to the end of this? After reading all of that? You have my thanks! I worked really hard on this and can't wait to do some more! Have a good one everybody!
This is part two of explaining tons of stuff in my universe... Expect a Part 3 and Part 4...
