Some already know that I have an AU, with a story of about what happens to Steele, after Balto saved Nome.
In this AU, thanks to Steele's bad deeds, he lost his friends and followers, and since he didn't perform well in the medicinal race, his owner demoted him to a position behind the sled guide. His owner bought a new sled guide; Dakota. The story tells of being enemies, both of them; Steele and Dakota eventually fall in love and work together.
Here's the protagonist, the reference sheet for how Steele looks like in this AU. We can see that he already has some expression lines on his face, and as he only wears a harness, not his leader guide collar.
His personality remains the same, conceited, pretentious, and conceited, only that due to so much rejection since Balto saved Nome, his attitude is a little more submissive and indifferent. He tries not to get in trouble anymore.
