Some already know that I have an AU, with a story of about what happens to Steele, after Balto saved Nome.

In this AU, thanks to Steele's bad deeds, he lost his friends and followers, and since he didn't perform well in the medicinal race, his owner demoted him to a position behind the sled guide. His owner bought a new sled guide; Dakota. The story tells of being enemies, both of them; Steele and Dakota eventually fall in love and work together.

Here is the reference sheet of how Aniu looks like in the AU (Although it can also be considered a redesign of the character) She is only a minor extra in the story, she doesn't appear in the story, but she is mentioned a couple of times.
She is remembered by Balto as her mother, the great white wolf who helped him regain hope and save Nome by accepting the wolf part in him and continuing with the mission. Everyone who has heard Balto's story knows her as "the white wolf" who helped him, later, recognized as "Aniu" thanks to the wild wolves and what they told Balto.
She continues to be a wolf respected by wild wolves, and quickly also began to be among sled dogs thanks to Balto's stories.
As a curiosity; Many sled dogs claim to have seen a big white wolf while they were sledding, they claim that it's Aniu.
