Since Dakota arrived, she not only took Steele's position, but also his partners.
Although Steele no longer had the confidence of many, Dakota ended any relationships of Steele, as she was the new rookie who rose quickly and is succeeding, she was the new thing to talk about and many wanted to be her companions. Unsurprisingly, Steele's former partners, Nikki, Kaltag, and Star, were now together with Dakota wherever she went. In the words of the three dogs, she was an excellent companion dog, although Dakota is competitive and somewhat bossy, unlike Steele, she is much more understanding, and intelligent, as she listened to the opinions of others and let them speak!
