After the events of Balto's movie, and having had a painful reunion with his brothers, Steele went to reunite with his father, Tennessee.
Tennessee had heard about the Nome scandal, what his son Steele had done to an entire town. He was extremely upset and disappointed. Once Steele was with her father, Tennessee told him that he had brought honor to his entire family.

Tennesee is an experienced ex-sled dog. He is now elderly and lives comfortably with his owner, also the owner of Tennessee's eldest son; Delta (Steele's older brother). Tennessee is black fur, with a silver back, white abdomen, and face, mint green eyes, and a small mole on his left cheek. Cold, heavy and silent character. Extremely judgmental and honorable.
