Here's a little something for a new, BIG reference sheet I'm making for Ranger :3 This is a little creative something I made, and it was really fun to draw n.n I luuurv how the skull came out <3 Anyways, I thought I'd make a Dragonic Skeleton built around the way ranger's body works :3 In other words, a skeleton that works towards soft, stretchy vore :3 Here's a quicky description of the structure...
The jaws of the skull house a small handfull of teeth, since Ranger is more prone to swallowing whole than chewing, these teeth serve more for self defense than feeding purposes. The bottom jaw is also able to easily detach from the main part of the skull, and from there it's only Ranger's cheeks that hold it from falling. This helps Ranger to stretch his jaws around objects that would not normally fit. The ribcage has no front, which allows for larger morsels to pass through without crushing the lungs and heart, giving enough room for the muscle of the chest to expand outwards. To protect the organs within, the muscles around the area is especially tense and tight, serving as an natural armor, along with the scales. His hips, upon close inspection, are not a single bone. They are in fact several pieces held together by flexible cartlidge. This allows for the hips to widen, allowing large objects to pass through the space between. this is most usefull for morsels taken in through his tail, giving enough room for objects near as large as he can consume with his front maw to pass through to his stomach from behind. Along his tail are soft "ribs" of cartlidge. This helps the tail keep it's shape, and along with muscle movements, helps to "tug" morsels down into his tail, lot like a Snake's body uses the bones and muscles to pull it's prey inside it's stomach.

You know, the way you have this drawn out (And colored), it would appear you are VERY flexible, almost as if you could tip your head backwards and touch your nose against the middle portion of your back if you wanted. What I mean is you seem to be made of mostly cartilage, as far as your 'skeletal' support goes.

Flexible is goooood. *Nom*
