She shook her head, trying to rid herself of the aggression that came to hide the feeling of helplessness from her.

"Where are you going? I can't come with you, I, I'm supposed to be watching the crowd and... " Nope... should have left the aggression where it was, the childlike panic of helplessness gripped coldly. Her arms slipped under the jacket for a moment as she hugged around him, trying in the most basic way to prevent him from leaving.
