Leiyansui, a product of the Distortion World, varies greatly from their Legendary Beast counterparts.The most obvious being their hybrid nature of the three. Another difference being their gender. Unlike the Legendary Beasts, Leiyansui's is entirely determined by perception. Namely, the prevailing perception dictates what they are, be it male, female, both, or neither. Here we see the most common version of them.
