So... as I'm (hopefully) getting across, Ulrich is a shifter who has a grip on their shape. While their condition may have a sense of humor as far as he knows, he keeps it under control, because it's all of him - beast or man he's all the same.
Around the people he adores though, when they resonate his heart and soul to such a point that he could lose himself in them... he can literally lose himself as the beast inside claws out - fur and claws and a want to adore the man he loves and wants.
And honestly? He doesn't mind.
Though he wouldn't wanna lose anymore shirts like that. He's on a professor's budget after all!
