Fascinating concept! You say you designed this fighter? As a fan of the TIE fighter and all of it’s variations, I’m impressed! I’m curious, what can you tell me about it? From my assessment of this picture, it’s been designed for above water combat, and is armed with laser cannons, what appears to be turbo lasers or a turret cannon, and torpedo launchers. Is it equipped with shields of any kind?

Yes, the TIE Riptide is made for water surface combat. It has the standard fixed chin laser cannons and a heavy laser turret which is capable of firing at targets below the waves. It does not have torpedo launchers, but that is a good idea for a Mk2 variant. It has two pontoons which act as hydrofoils at high speeds and yes, it does have shields.
