Hensley's Character List for Skin to Scales Part 4
I will say and state this again before you proceed any further. I like to give my characters icons so I can use them as quick reference sheets. I feel it's easier to write down and create a character once you get a good look at their face. Skin to Scales has so many different personalities and people coming from different backgrounds that it can be rough keeping track of them all. So that's why I make icons for most of the important characters who are in the setting. Some don't have icons yet, and some I still have old versions back from 2020 I still use in case a character gets updated or not. Here you will still see several characters from previous and even upcoming sheets as their designs got updated or I improved as an artist.
Another thing I want to say and give a thank you to my many co-writers who help me work on the setting whenever I have free time. That being DuckPuncher (who I usually refer to as Varik), Malbutorious, Rodney (Who won't stop changing his name so I'll forever call him Rodney to his dismay), ArtisticBulbmin, and Whitegroth. Mal always helps me out with the mythology side of things, Varik helps me write the faceless side of things, Rodney helping out with evolution and goblin lore, Charles and his crew that he's written in and Whitegroth helping expand out the technological side of the setting.
With that out of the way, let me introduce you to this batch of characters. I will tell the arc that they were introduced in, if they perished and are no longer part of the current timeline of the setting, who they are, the likes and giving a small biography on each. I'll only be giving out breadcrumbs and the need-to-know information for now.
Thank you for reading, you are all truly wonderful.
Icarus Tommy Materia: Introduced in Dark World: Son of Thomza, and the birth of a fallen mother. Born from an egg and raised by half man creatures. Going an epic adventure to find out who he is. Only to learn he is the son of a God and is part dragon. Bringing in its own complications as he and his friends are hunted by an assassin.
Dusty: Introduced In Dark World: (Rewrite in Progress) One of the main inventors of the universe who was once renown. However he had fallen and stripped his flesh to make it become metal. Crash landing on a planet and being sworn to help Icarus in his quest.
Scott Tostle: Introduced in Council of Chaos: (Rewrite in Progress): Some lunatic shirtless Plantaran who hates taxes and brought down an empire because he hates taxes so much. He’s only under the rule of Captain PiK because he is not charged with them... His sword also has runes on it. Did I mention he was shirtless?
DR. SUPER EVIL BAD: introduced creation of the universe: His real name is “Godrick Star” and he is the brother of Star Captain. A grand inventor who created entire space colonies and hive worlds. After the events of creation, he decided to leave the main cast and pursue his own goals. He would then meet Ghetto Knight and become his sworn nemesis as the two would compete for princesses in their universe.
Hunter (Wendigo): introduced in council of chaos: the form is complete, and it is pure. Now he only needs the strength to follow the path.
Proto Mission Control: “Stop kicking the barrels.”
The Crystal Narrators: Introduced in Creation of the Universe: it is to be noted that scholars used these to write stories for them. That they would narrate events and dot them down as the story would unfold. However, it is to be noted they’re not very good at it and things get lost or are exaggerated on. These are used mostly to tell events in the story that may or may not be even canon.
Hunter (Fruity Godslayer): Introduced in Council of Chaos: Hunter’s fruit Kobold form that sacrifices size and damage for extreme speed. (Rewrite in progress)
PiK (Ringmaster): introduced in Dark World: Captain PiK’s side job besides being a king is to be a ringmaster instead. Inspired by his younger days of going to the circus he now puts on shows for his people.
Huntley (Love-Bot): introduced in Fading Embers: (rewrite in progress) A form for Huntley that trades his extreme defense for offense instead.
Scavvy Materia: introduced in Cyber Arc: Some feline Love-Bot who showed Thommy boy the ropes in a brand-new world. A scavenger bot who acts as a guide and eventually becomes a servant
Ridley Tia Materia: introduced in Creation of the Universe: One of Tia’s heads that doesn’t appear all that much. He was supposedly the runt of the litter before they all fused together. Usually hiding or even being disconnected from the main body.
Dexter and Lloyd: introduced in Mimin War: Two scientist in Charles’ crew. Usually responsible for a good chunk of their inventions. They're twins.
Lucy and Kris: (Rewrite in progress)
There we are, that's most of them up to date. See you around everyone.
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me. The Skin to Scales universe also belongs to me there... You get the drill.
Other Disclaimer: You are allowed to share my artwork as long as I am credited, but do not upload it anywhere else, edit it and or mark it as your own if that wasn't common sense.
Another thing: The textures and background in Huntley's PFP were from a game called Cruelty Squad, credit where credit is due... also yeah "Mission Control" proto is a joke PFP as he acts like the character from deep rock galactic sometimes
