Again from the Merry-Go-Round Museum... I love the art of the wood-carved animals. The muscle structure on the lion, the cracks going through the wood only makes him feel more regal in my opinion. His colors have been lost with time, but his glass eye and the brow and ear still show you that his roar has lost no strength. Behind and to the side are camels, and I can't remember who said it but it was once said that a camel can make you feel very insignificant indeed.
