Without her, who knows how the twins would have turned out. They may never have survived, or they could have been totally different people, not the good clan-members they became. If they weren't upstanding 'citizens', maybe they'd have been cast out. Then who knows what would have happened. Their journeys beginning that much sooner, I suppose.
