Did you get enough love, my little dove? Why do you cry?A long time ago, my trainer told me to wait. She said there was no way I’d fit outside the team magma’s hideaway, and that she would need a quick escape. She sat on the edge of the docks and placed her tiny hand on my head, and told me she would be back soon. It was morning then. The sun was still hidden behind the great rock in which the team lay. I don’t know how many days ago that was. The sun rose high and burned my back, then went away. And again, and again, and again.
I’m hungry.
When is soon?
When will you come back?Over a decade ago, my Pokémon Ruby game was stolen from me. I can still remember the team and their names, and how beloved they were. I was thinking about them today as the little root theme became popular on TikTok, and I wonder if my pokemon know that I did not abandon them on purpose. I loved them.
