Bandai 1/12 The Mandalorian Silver Coating Version
This is the Bandai 1/12 The Mandalorian model kit! This is the the silver coating version of the kit. Bandai made one with silver coating and one without silver coating. Me, being a freak for detail, had to go for the silver coated one. :) The one without the coating has the armor molded out of a very dull light grey plastic, and I just couldn’t stand it. This is The Mandalorian here! His beskar armor had to have that metallic silver finish, or it just doesn’t look authentic, you know? With shipping, this kit cost me $70, making it the most expensive Star Wars model kit I’ve ever purchased, but man was it worth it! :D This thing looks amazing with the silver coating! Like any Bandai Star Wars model kit, this one comes with A LOT of sticker decals. 39 to be precise. I only actually used five of them, though. All the other spots where stickers would have gone I painted instead. I didn’t have the paint for the hands, though, so the tips of his fingers had to be left unpainted.
This kit comes with a pretty good number of accessories. You get two different left accessory holding hands, one open right hand, a cloth cape, a jetpack, his rifle, his regular blaster, a piece to attach the riffle to his back, a piece to attach the staff to his back (I’ll admit that I accidentally lost that piece XD), a beskar staff/spear, and the darksaber. So you’ll a lot of options for how you want to display this one. :)
Overall, this is a fantastic model kit, and it looks gorgeous once you have it all put together! Because this kit has silver coating, it’s a lot more expensive than the regular version, but if you want a really good looking Mandalorian for your collection, I recommend splurging on this one. :)

Thank you! :) Bandai makes really great Star Wars kits! This one is a little pricey because of the metallic silver coating on the armor pieces, but if you’re looking for an authentic feeling Mando, I recommend this one over the one without silver coating. The beskar on that one is molded out of this really dull grey color, and it just doesn’t look like it belongs on him, you know? Beskar’s gotta have that nice metallic finish to it (unless it’s painted, like Boba Fett’s).
