Free is the type that displays that "smelly feet" energy. Especially when one considers how crazy and pretty goofy he acts within the manga itself! The mere mention of smell and yet Free is only mentioning just the air of his cigar, and yet the viewer can likely also get a whiff of the smell of his feet from this distance around the Shinshigumi owned car is teasing. Makes me weak in the knees. You captured his likeness extremely well, and that's saying a lot since the manga itself only shows characters in color via covers (or just in the anime). Quite like that you made Free's hair/mane color around the shade of his blushed soles, but a bit brighter in the regard. Considering one is in the perspective of the new guy, its rather hard to peel eyes off his smelly feet and try not to start be noticable taking in whiffs as the smell seeps off his glossy feet. With the light blush on his soles it make sit rather easy to think that he was airing them out after his regular duties of either hustling vendors for their protection money again, or some sort. Slipping his feet out of his classy shoes and resting them on the side of the car. Neat that for the mirror itself, you added a reflection of what's in front of it (more trees) but transparent enough like the real thing to see thru it and into the car's seat views themselves. And its one of those open cars too, so the gang members can feel the wind against their manes. I see you added a real photo of a japanese outdoorsy field setting and ingrained it into this picture. Its a nice blend and suits this considering the gang's origins as well as blended in enough that looks like a natural transition into the actual drawing itself. You insured that due to Free's positioning that the lion's wardrobe is wrinkly, and deshelved in several spots due to how he's reclining. Even holding the cigeratte as his arm leans out from the car.

Due to the expression and saying of Free, one can interpret from your art piece that he is mildly annoyed that the viewer is likely making a face that may show agitation (whether it be from the cigeratte or from being aroused by the smell of his feet is anyone's guess) and so rather sarcasticly tells you to beat it if you can't take it. Would be rather hard to not start showing one's submissive side toward him and start longingly sniffing his feet..and likely escalating from there. Well, the new guy IS supposed to do whatever the superiors order, so I can see this being taken advantage of a lot by him once one breaks and exposes their dirty secrets. Free's feet look so plump, especially with the bit of fold right around the top of the heel but right before the insole's curve. I'd be happy to sniff right around there, and start to brush my lips against it, trembling as my lips feel streaks of sweat stick around them. Anyway, I do apologize if I talked too much.
