Eventually, to no one's surprise, the once frail coyote could hold no more, and, with a thunderous boom, popped into a thousand little pieces! As the tethers of his flesh rained down on the wet pavement, two yellow eyeballs-the only thing left of the poor yote-fell and bounced neatly into his own withered, nasty old dog collar he found in the trash. The eyes blinked in bewilderment, as they noticed that same red ball from earlier floating towards them. The same ball that had caused all of this...
He wasn't dead. All that was left were his eyes, sure, but they were still conscious and aware of their surroundings. His body would eventually regenerate, and he would not die. His creator wouldn't allow it. Sure, he could be harmed, but as long as his creator was in charge, he would not die, unless the creator wanted him to. He was, after all, still a cartoon. As he would wait for his new body to grow, he would learn something: be careful while rummaging through trash! You never know what's in there!
